Rektor ITS Surabaya, Triyogi Yuwono dan Rektor Universitas Airlangga (Unair) Surabaya, Fasichul Lisan Apt meminta Walikota Surabaya Tri Rismaharini tidak mundur dari jabatannya. Kepemimpinan Risma dinilai sangat bermanfaat bagi warga Kota Surabaya.

"Nggak perlu mundur, karena kalau orang Surabaya keluar kota, seperti Bandung atau Jakarta, mereka akan merasakan bahwa Surabaya itu nyaman dan maju. Saya kira Bu Risma melakukan itu nggak pendek, karena itu selesaikan. Apalagi waktunya nggak lama kok," kata Triyogi di Surabaya, Selasa (18/2/2014)

Menanggapi desakan dari luar terhadap Risma untuk mundur, termasuk dengan cara memaksakan wakil walikota tanpa koordinasi dengan Risma, Triyogi meminta Risma yang merupakan alumni ITS untuk meneladani para seniornya yang pantang menyerah.

"Saya harapkan dia maju terus. Jangan lihat pihak eksternal, tapi lihatlah rakyat Surabaya yang sudah merasakan manfaat pembangunan yang dilakukannya. Jadi lihatlah dukungan rakyat dan abaikan upaya-upaya yang menghambat, karena rakyat Surabaya lebih membutuhkan," pintanya.

Ia menambahkan, warga Surabaya senang dengan kepemimpinan Risma, termasuk dirinya. "Saya yakin warga Surabaya itu nggak ada urusan dengan politik. Warga Surabaya itu mendukung karena senang dengan bukti dari kepemimpinan beliau," jelas Triyogi.

Senada dengan itu, Fasich juga meminta Risma untuk tidak mundur. "Jangan mundur, karena ini ibarat langkah yang tinggal langkah terakhir. Jadi selesaikan visi dan misi yang ada," ucap dia.

Guru Besar Fakultas Farmasi Unair Surabaya itu menegaskan, pemimpin itu harus memperhatikan setiap kritik dan desakan, tapi jangan sampai mundur, karena pemimpin itu harus membiasakan untuk menyelesaikan tugas sampai akhir.

"Itu biasa, maju terus, pantang mundur. Desakan itu perhatikan saja, tapi jangan mundur, teruskan visi dan misi sampai selesai," tukas Fasich. (Ant/Ali/Ado)
